my friend kandice over at honeststab.com has two great articles on the first annual gowanus art space jello competition.

the first article has pictures of several entries and some general background, the second one describes their process of creating the pieces she did together with julia green, ending up winning first price.

after an intense year of work, new york based ron gilad is showing over eighty new and unique pieces at his first solo exhibition at Wright in chicago. as usual, he created some amazing pieces.
